Sreepati Dey      BScPT  MSOM MCISc  FCAMPT  and CEO

Sreepati graduated with Honours in Anatomy  with a  B Sc. Degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, securing first place in his class. He passed the competency examination of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA) in 1976 He successfully completed the competency examination of the Society of Orthopaedic Medicine in 1991. He obtained a Graduate Certificate in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy from the Curtin University of Technology, Perth, Australia. He received  a Master of Clinical Science degree in Manual Therapy at the University of Western Ontario and obtained a fellowship from the Canadian Association of Manipulative Physical Therapists. read more

 Bhavini Bhoiwala      BSc PT,  MClSc , FCAMPT and Clinic Manager

Bhavini graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physiotherapy from S.N.D.T. Women’s University, Bombay, India in 2006. She has been actively involved in providing physiotherapy services since her graduation both in India and in Canada She has completed the Clinical Masters program at University of Western Ontario and obtained a fellowship from the Canadian Association of Manipulative Physical Therapists. Her area of interest is treating orthopaedic conditions combining manual therapy with functional exercises to help patients return to their activities of daily living. She also has experience in geriatrics and treating patients with neurological conditions. She speaks English, Gujarati and Hindi.

Muralli Krishnan (Kris) Avilineni  BPT, CMT

​Kris graduated from MGR Medical University, Chennai in 2000 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree. He went on to complete a Master of Science in Fitness and Exercise Rehabilitation in 2003 from Madras University. Kris is a life-long learner, and has taken many continuing education courses with a focus on orthopedics, spinal manipulation, biomedical dry needling,and vestibular rehabilitation.  He is authorized to perform spinal manipulation and use dry needles in practice and has experience with athletes in various sports. He has more than 15 years experience as a therapist, working in India and Canada. On his days off, he can be found with his wife and lovely daughter at Lake Summerside Park. In addition to English, Kris speaks Tamil and Telugu. ​

​Sheena Pomeroy RMT

Sheena is a Registered Massage Therapist with the Massage Therapist Association of Alberta since 2005.  She has many years of experience treating acute and chronic conditions that include but not limited to:Migraines, headaches, low back pain, sciatica, arthritis, rotator cuff injuries, pre and post surgery pain, TMJ, over-use injuries, plantar fascititis, strains and sprains, MVA's (Motor Vehicle Accidents) and other conditions that affect our everyday life.  Sheena is specialized in Deep Tissue Massage Therapy, Trigger Point Release Therapy, Pregnancy Massage, Sports Massage, Manual Lympathic Drainage, Myofascial Action Release, Fire Cupping, and Hydrotheraphy.  Other certifications that Sheena has are: Best Practices for the Management of Low Back Pain, Evidence Informed Massage Therapy for Neck Pain, Best Practices for the Management of Non-Specific Shoulder Pain and Lateral Epicondyliti,s and Schweitzer's Deep Tissue.

 Meghan Dickau      RMT

Meghan graduated from MacEwan University's 2200-hr Massage Therapy Program in June, 2016. She is a member of the Massage Therapist Association of Alberta (MTAA). She has been working with the Walker Lakes staff  to provide quality care and treatment to each patient. Along with traditional Swedish massage relaxation techniques, Meghan has been equipped with a variety of techniques to help patients with pain reduction during injury recovery, which range from trigger point therapy to, her personal passion, myofascial release therapy. Her goal  is to work closely with the other physiotherapists in treatment management and injury recovery in order to ensure that each patient receives the best care possible, allowing them to return to daily life relatively pain-free. In her downtime, Meghan enjoys writing, drawing and watching the occasional show on TV. She, unfortunately, only speaks English.

Cindy Ann Luker      RMT

CindyAnn has a passion to facilitate healing. While initially pursuing a career in nursing, she has since become a registered massage therapist and is a member of the Massage Therapy Association of Alberta. She graduated with honours from a 2200-hr certification program and also passed the C.M.T.O. (Ontario) board exams in 1988 . She worked in sports outreach and in spas in  Vail CO and Edmonton. She has varied experiences in the field of massage therapy. She loves to customize Swedish style massage for relaxation, deep tissue, pre-natal and  sport and MVA related injuries. Her interest is to broaden the scope of her practice so she can better service her clients’ needs.  English is her only fluent language , but  she has a basic knowledge of French.

Alexis Vetch  RMT

Alexis' passion is the need to help people, which is what led to her career in Massage Therapy after high school.  She graduated from Grant MacEwan University in 2007 with 2200 hours and has 10 plus years experience.  She is registered with the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada.  Her specialties include, Swedish Massage, Trigger Point Therapy and Myofacial Cupping.  She likes to combine these different techniques to make for a relaxing yet effective massage treatment.  She loves meeting new people and working with them to help improve their health.  Her  hobbies include reading, yoga and travelling.

Karolina Brudnicka RMT

Karolina is passionate about assisting clients to improve their mobility, strength and overall physical health. She is a Registered Massage Therapist from Makami College Advanced Clinical 3000 and an ISSA Certified Personal Training Specialist. She has spent 10 years focused on physical activity coaching, and the last 3 years on massage therapy. She specializes in kinetic massage, TMJ dysfunction treatment, posture dysfunction and movement pattern retraining treatment  as well as oncology massage. Education has always been important to Karolina and she believes that it is one of the best ways she can provide value to her clients. She has a Business Management Diploma from Grant MacEwan and is currently working towards a Degree in Human Science at the Athabasca University.

Mathieu McLean, Registered Acupuncturist 
 
Mathieu successfully completed the four year Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Acupuncturist program at Kootenay Columbia College of Integrative Health in 2017 and is registered with the College and Association of Acupuncturists of Alberta (CAAA).  He is able to help relieve a myriad of illnesses that range from muscle pain to acne with the use of acupuncture, acupressure, cupping, and herbal remedies. He has a keen interest in injury recovery and is always willing to help clients with any health issue they may have. He loves learning, and constantly tries to improve his services to better aid his clients to reach their health goals. He is fluent in both French and English. Most of the services that Mathieu will provide can be covered under extended health care insurance plans.
