Sreepati Dey BScPT MSOM MCISc FCAMPT , CEO and clinic manager
Sreepati graduated with Honours in Anatomy with a B Sc. Degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, securing first place in his class. He passed the competency examination of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA) in 1976 . He successfully completed the competency examination of the Society of Orthopaedic Medicine in 1991. He obtained a Graduate Certificate in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy from the Curtin University of Technology , Perth, Australia. He received a Master of Clinical Science degree in Manual Therapy at the University of Western Ontario and obtained a fellowship from the Canadian Association of Manipulative Physical Therapists. read more |
Antonio Cabungcal BScPT
Antonio graduated from Far Eastern University NRMF in Philippines in 2001 with Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. He passed the Physiotherapy Competency Exam in 2015. He has a wide variety of interests in the profession, but favours musculoskeletal injuries. He speaks and understands both English and Tagalog. In his spare time Antonio enjoys playing basketball, running and listening to different kinds of music. |
Niloida Ranon BSc PT
Niloida is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy of De La Salle University, Philippines and practiced physiotherapy in her country right after graduation. She successfully passed the Canadian Professional Competency Exam. She completed the Advanced Vestibular Rehabilitation course and the SWODEAM Peripheral Manipulation course. She is currently enrolled in the level courses of the Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic and Manipulative Physiotherapy of which she plans to become a Fellow. She completed Level 2 and Level 3, upper quadrant. Niloida has also received her TMJ certificate from APTEI. She did the Certification in Dry Needling under Acupuncture. Canada ( AACDN) .She believes that the patient is the centre of the rehabilitation team. Her professional interests include treating musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries and orthopaedic cases both in children and adults. Niloida speaks English and Tagalog |
Rejitha Rani Herbin Samuel BPT
Rejitha successfully passed the Canadian Professional Competency Exam. She provides assessment and rehabilitation for all forms of orthopaedic conditions as well as selected neuromusculoskeletal disorders. She works with patients of any age. Her treatments will focus on aiding recovery with hands-on therapy like joint mobilizations, deep tissue massage, stretching, and therapeutic exercise and education. Rejitha speaks English and Malayalam .. |
ACUPUNCTURIST
Cuihong Yao R.Ac
Cuihong graduated with distinction from a three-year acupuncture program as well as a Traditional Chinese Herbology Certificate at Grant MacEwan University. She became a member of College and Association of Acupuncturists of Alberta (CAAA) in 2014. She has a BS degree in Western Medicine and a Master’s degree in cardiovascular disease in China. She worked as a physician of internal medicine at the Medical University’s Hospital for eight years and specialized in cardiology. She is also trained in acusports for the neck, shoulders and lower back. Cuihong practised in chiropractic and physiotherapy clinics for many years. As a result, she accumulated a diversity of skills for the treatment of muscle and joint injuries, muscle spasm, chronic pain and neurological impairments as a result of sports injuries and motor vehicle accidents. In addition to English Cuihong speaks Mandarin. |
MASSAGE THERAPISTS
Rakesh Radhakrishnan BPT RMT
Rakesh graduated from CDI College in May 2019 with 2400 practise hours in Advanced Clinical Massage Therapy. Rakesh’s area of interest is in therapeutic massage. He is skilled in deep tissue massage, trigger point release and myofascial release. Rakesh has also a degree in physiotherapy from India with 8+ years of experience in clinical practise. His knowledge of physiotherapy helps him further with the clinical skill required for massage. |
Meenakshi Gautam RMT
Meenakshi completed the 2200 hour massage therapy program from the National Institute, Ontario and is in good standing with Canadian Massage and Manual Osteopathic Therapists Association (CMMOTA). She is also a Registered Manual Osteopathic practitioner and is in good standing with CRMO (College of Registered Manual Osteopaths). She is also a certified Kinetic Massage Therapist for neck, shoulder and hip. She is an internationally trained physiotherapist from India with 10 years of clinical experience. Meenakshi believes in holistic approach for healing the human body through therapeutic touch. Her goal is to educate her clients and provide relief from pain, injury and stress, through working on long-term injuries and trauma, prenatal or postnatal treatments or relaxation massage. Meenakshi is well equipped with massage modalities:- Swedish techniques, deep tissue, Joint mobilization, remedial exercises, active release, PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation), trigger point release, myofascial release, and a variety of different techniques. She treats her client according to their needs to achieve the best outcomes. |
Abhishay Tiwari RMT
Abhishay graduated from the Advanced Clinical Massage Therapist (ACMT) course at Makami College for which she needed 3000 hrs of practical experience. She is a member of the Canadian Registered Massage Therapy Association (CRMTA). She completed her first year at Makami College with honours with distinction. Abhishay completed her Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy (BPT) in 2014 from India and worked as an Assistant Physiotherapist for 4 years in Edmonton. She has mastered diverse techniques to aid patients in recovery such as Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point and Myofascial Release Therapy, Hot Stone Massage, Prenatal and Postnatal Massage and various PNF techniques to release muscle tension. Abhishay speaks Hindi, Punjabi and English. She hopes to continue her work with Sports Plus Physio and rehabilitate and assist patients in overcoming physical barriers. |
